Amy is an award-winning globally recognized leader in luxury hospitality and mixeduse interiors with more than 35 years of experience delivering iconic destinations worldwide. As Hospitality Practice Area Leader at Gensler, she provides strategic, creative, and operational leadership across the firm’s hospitality platform, guiding complex projects that balance design excellence with strong business performance.
Amy believes true luxury goes beyond aesthetics. She approaches every hotel, residence, and private space as an opportunity to craft a sensory experience, one where light, texture, and detail come together to reflect the character and culture of its setting. Throughout her career, Amy has led high‑performing teams, driven $10M+ in annual design revenues, and overseen construction budgets exceeding $500M. Her portfolio spans hotels, resorts, branded residences, private clubs, and mixed‑use developments, across 15 countries with clients such as Four Seasons, Ritz‑Carlton, Waldorf Astoria, St. Regis, Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG.
A respected industry voice, Amy has been named one of Hotel Management’s Top 30 Most Influential Women in Hospitality and is a frequent speaker at leading global forums.

I love travel, how a place can change you a little just by being there. That’s what I want every hotel I design to do: not sit in the background but actually transport someone. When it’s working, a guest feels it and never asks why.
