Biography
Barry is a registered architect, Design Manager, and Principal in Gensler’s Dallas office with decades of experience in mixed-use, planning, education, and residential projects.
Committed to placemaking and bold design, he has led complex projects locally and internationally, bringing expertise in managing large teams, client service, project budgets, and technical and jurisdictional requirements.
He is involved in civic leadership across the Dallas region, including the Board of Trustees Executive Committee for the Dallas Winds. He served an eight-year term as Chairman of the Planning Commission in Richardson and as an Adjunct Studio Critic for Texas Tech University's College of Architecture, and is an active member of ULI, ICSC, the Texas Society of Architects, and the American Planning Association.
