Biography
Bill is a Design Director in Gensler’s Los Angeles office with more than 30 years of experience in commercial interior design. An award-winning designer, he brings a passion for collaboration, visioning, concept development, and storytelling to create human-centered experiences that support people and organizations.
From the earliest stages of the creative process, Bill seeks out new ideas and imagery that strengthen a client’s culture, brand, and ability to adapt for the future. His design sensibility is driven by the belief that interior design can empower people and transform organizations.
Bill closely collaborates with senior client leaders, strategists, and stakeholders to foster alignment, spark innovation, and solve complex challenges. His expertise spans a broad range of commercial interiors, including lifestyle, legal, consulting, financial, advertising, creative media, nonprofit, technology, and life sciences, as well as lobbies, amenities, branded environments, and advanced workplace solutions. He currently serves as President of the IIDA International Board of Directors.
The future workplace is already here. It is shaped by lifestyle-driven ways of working, supported by data, and rooted in a strong sense of place.
