David’s career began in California where, upon graduating from University of California Berkeley, he went on to work for several high-profile design firms in the Bay Area. David moved to Austin, Texas in 1996 and began a 15-year tenure with a top Austin design firm, working on a variety of corporate office, mixed-use, hospitality, multi-family residential, institutional, adaptive re-use, and historic renovation projects.

David joined Gensler in 2011, and has established himself as a highly sought-after resource within the South-Central region of Austin. He was project manager for some of Austin’s largest and most complex projects, including Domain Northside, Fairmont Austin Hotel, and the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport Expansion. David is a wealth of information, a tireless advocate for his clients, and a consistent mentor to his project teams.
