Biography
Kirk is a Design Manager in Gensler’s Austin office. Since joining the firm in 2011, he has managed some of Gensler’s largest projects, including the Golden State Warriors’ arena; NFL stadium projects for the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, and Detroit Lions; a multibillion-dollar integrated resort in Asia; and the redevelopment of Culver Studios.
In addition to large-scale projects, Kirk’s 25-year portfolio includes golf training facilities; master plans for university athletic departments and venues, including the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Savannah Civic Arena, and TD Garden; and renovation projects for the Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Clippers, and New Orleans Saints. Prior to joining Gensler, he spent 10 years on the ownership side, including NFL stadiums, hotels, and golf and ski resorts. He earned his MBA and Master of Architecture degrees from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Marketing from the University of Tulsa.
