Biography

Lee is a Design Director in Gensler’s Los Angeles office who specializes in high-profile interiors and building transformations for longtime Gensler clients such as Douglas Emmett, Sony, Lionsgate, and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. With 40 years of experience, she has built a diverse portfolio spanning retail, corporate headquarters, airport terminals, and private residences.

Lee brings this same caliber of design to both sides of a project, from high-end tenant interiors to building repositioning. This dual perspective gives her a rare understanding of what tenants and owners are each looking for. She uses design to reimagine the experience of a space, from how a building opens up to and engages with its surrounding community, to how tenants and visitors move through and connect within it.

A research-driven designer, Lee has also created furniture for Martin Brattrud, West Elm, Carnegie, and Forms+Surfaces. She serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council at Cornell University and the USC Architectural Guild and holds a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from Arizona State University.

I believe great workplace design isn’t about filling space, it’s about discovering potential. By understanding people, culture, and change, we create environments that inspire connection, adapt over time, and help organizations perform at their best.
