As a Design Director in Gensler’s Toronto office, Matthew Kobylar brings a pragmatic, research-backed approach to delivering high-quality workplace environments. His process is rooted in understanding a client’s aspirations to design a workplace that fully aligns with their business goals, culture, and brand.
Matthew’s expertise serves many of the world’s largest and most influential law firms and other professional services firms. A recognized industry leader, his insights have appeared in numerous publications, and he has been featured at international speaking engagements on core workplace issues. His topics focus on increasing productivity, multi-generational workplaces, health and well-being, and measuring workplace performance.
Matthew has practiced in Canada, Europe, and the United States, bringing an international perspective to all his client engagements. He holds a Bachelor of Science in the Study of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
