His award-winning work spans a variety of building types, including civic, commercial, educational, hospitality, multi-family, and urban design, with projects including the University of Texas at San Antonio National Security Collaboration Center and School of Data Science, ProjectMEND headquarters, The Alameda Theater, and The San Antonio Zoo Animal Hospital. Michael has taught Architecture and Construction Science at UTSA’s School of Architecture and serves as chair of their Advocacy and Advisory Council. He received his Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and his Master of Architecture from Yale University.
