Biography

William is a Principal and Director in Gensler's Paris office and a recognised leader in architectural and urban transformation across Europe. An architect and engineer with a career spanning international design leadership and infrastructure investment, he understands the cultural and economic forces shaping cities from both sides.

William has led projects in more than twenty countries, with expertise in heritage transformation and large-scale public projects. He is a trusted advisor to clients such as JPMorgan Chase, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Foncière Renaissance and Star Alliance. His recent work includes the flagship transformation of 40 Avenue George V in Paris' Golden Triangle alongside the award-winning Grands Boulevards heritage repositioning and Marseille office-to-hotel conversion. An influential voice in the French real estate market, he co-chairs ULI France's Office and Mixed-Use Product Council, is Vice-President of X-Ponts Pierre, and has been an Institut Choiseul laureate every year since 2020, most recently among its top five architects, planners and public leaders.
