As Burnaby grows, Vancouver-based developer Bosa Properties redefines conventional housing models through distinctive design, vibrant community, and a renewed sense of place.

Typical high-rise residential buildings in Vancouver have long followed a tightly prescribed formula driven by efficiency and economy. With Central Park serving as a vibrant community anchor, Bosa Properties saw an opportunity to create a more unique residential offering by balancing market expectations with a more people-centered vision. The project aims to offer residents new ways to engage, gather, and build lasting relationships within a rapidly evolving urban environment. This ambition required a design approach that could seamlessly integrate social, residential, and amenity spaces.

Anchored by an elevated amenity pavilion, the design creates a vertical village that balances connection and retreat while defining Burnaby's skyline.

Gensler translates Bosa Properties' vision into a residential community that balances privacy and connection. Anchoring the design, the Horizon Pavilion serves as a floating amenity destination suspended between the tower's residential volumes, creating a highly visible gathering space for recreation, wellness, and social engagement. Elevated toward Central Park, the pavilion becomes both a defining architectural feature and a catalyst for resident interaction. Together, these design moves create a more distinctive model for high-rise living and bring Bosa Properties' vision for connection and belonging to life.
