Barbara is a Principal and Studio Director in Gensler's Los Angeles office. A recognized leader in workplace and law firm design, Barbara is known for delivering thoughtful, client-focused solutions from concept through implementation. She helps clients create workplaces that do more than support day-to-day operations, aligning space, culture, and business objectives to strengthen organizational performance over time.

She is among a select group of designers named a Fellow of both the College of Law Practice Management and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), and received IIDA's Circle of Excellence Award. Barbara has served on the boards of CoreNet Global Southern California and the ALA Business Partners Advisory Council, is Director Emeritus of the Institute of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, and was recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of its Outstanding Women in Construction & Design.
