Biography
Matthew is a Principal and Studio Director who guides complex airport programs and creates terminal environments that align operational performance with an intuitive passenger experience.
Since joining the firm in 2004, Matthew has led multifaceted teams through phased terminal programs spanning multiple packages, stakeholders, and active operations. His portfolio includes major work at JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, Boston Logan, and Los Angeles international airports. Known as a collaborative problem solver, he helps clients maximize assets, expand capacity, and balance design ambition with technical, schedule, and budget requirements. His leadership has supported award-winning work, long-standing client relationships, and repeat assignments.
Designing an airport isn’t just about being iconic; it’s about understanding all aspects of the airport and integrating the operational needs, guest journey, art, wayfinding, and support spaces into a holistic experience.
