Tom’s work spans higher education and local government, with experience across multiple University of California campuses, California State universities and community colleges, and several counties and cities throughout California. He believes the best learning environments break down traditional boundaries between teacher and student, creating opportunities for collaboration and connection.

Tom works with education and institutional clients on everything from academic and student life buildings to real estate, facilities, and workplace strategies. His perspective extends beyond individual projects to help institutions align their environments with evolving needs and opportunities. He is also an adjunct studio instructor at the NewSchool of Architecture and Design.
