Texas-inspired materials, flexible workplace planning, and hospitality-driven amenities transformed a compact office footprint into a distinctive employee experience.

Working within the building's unique floorplate, Gensler organized a mix of open workstations, glass-front offices, conference rooms, and informal collaboration spaces to support multiple work modes. Regional materials including limestone, leather, raw-edge wood, and metal accents create a strong local identity, while a recurring lasso motif ties the workplace together visually. Murals by local artist Anthony Rose, hospitality-inspired gathering areas, and an indoor putting green introduce moments of whimsy that reflect NIKA's culture while supporting employee well-being and connection.

The design process began by understanding how NIKA employees balance focused work, confidential meetings, and collaborative problem-solving throughout the day. The team leveraged the building's irregular shape to maximize openness and transparency while maintaining privacy where required. Local culture informed the material palette, custom artwork, and architectural details throughout the workplace. Collaborative lounges, hospitality-inspired break spaces, and flexible meeting environments were strategically integrated to support employee well-being and create a workplace experience that reflects NIKA's personality.
