Opportunity

Today's showrooms are no longer static displays. They're becoming dynamic, hybrid environments that blur the line between workplace, brand experience, and community hub.

These spaces must do more than showcase products; they must foster collaboration, spark creativity, and serve as gathering places for customers, influencers, and industry partners. For its new flagship showroom in downtown Denver, Workplace Resource saw an opportunity to meet that moment, seeking a space that could express its distinctive brand identity while honoring its legacy and partner brands. The result needed to feel like more than a showcase: a destination that reflects who Workplace Resource is today and where the industry is headed.

Why This Matters

  1. 01

    Experience Drives Differentiation

Work/Haus demonstrates how a thoughtfully curated environment can strengthen brand identity, support relationship-building, and create lasting value for visitors and partners. By placing discovery and engagement at the center of the experience, the showroom becomes a dynamic, distinct destination for the design community.

  2. 02

    Designed to Adapt

Work/Haus was conceived to support continual change. A flexible framework allows the environment to respond to new products, events, and business needs over time, continually refreshing its experience while extending its long-term relevance.

  3. 03

    Connecting the Design Community

Work/Haus serves as a hub for creativity and collaboration, bringing together customers, industry partners, influencers, and employees to exchange ideas, build relationships, find inspiration, and support Denver's design community.

“By blurring the lines between workplace and showroom, Work/Haus becomes more than a space, it becomes an experience.

Solution

The design orchestrates a dynamic environment where story is woven into every moment.

From arrival, visitors are guided through a narrative that highlights Workplace Resource's legacy and partner brands, unfolding in a sequence of thoughtfully curated moments that spark exploration and interaction. Flexible spaces accommodate collaboration, while playful touches, including six uniquely designed single-use restrooms, reinforce the storytelling. By blurring the lines between workplace and showroom, the design mirrors the vibrancy of its urban context and immerses visitors in an experiential journey.

From brief to build: Organizing diverse user needs into a cohesive journey, the design integrates showroom, workplace, and community functions.

From clients and industry partners to first-time visitors and Workplace Resource employees, user experience was a key driver of the design. A meandering circulation path, curated vignettes, collaboration zones, and framed architectural moments shape how the space is navigated and experienced. A sequence of distinct moments reveals products, brand stories, and workplace functions throughout the journey. This layered approach supports multiple user groups and activities while creating a cohesive spatial framework that balances orientation, flexibility, and visual interest.
