lex is a Principal in Gensler's Boston office who brings a human-centric passion for art and design to every project, pairing creative insight with thoughtful problem-solving to help clients realize exceptional results.
Alex is an accomplished architect and design director who unites vision, innovation, and technical precision to deliver thoughtful, high-impact design solutions. His global portfolio spans a diverse range of project types and scales, including master plans, mixed-use developments, retail centers, commercial office buildings, and higher education facilities. Committed to lifelong learning and mentorship, Alex has taught design and drawing at universities across the United States and internationally. He holds Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from Syracuse University, earned in New York and Florence, Italy.
Great design begins with a sketch, grows through collaboration, and succeeds when it inspires both understanding and possibility. The hand connects imagination to the built world in a way no technology can fully replicate, turning ideas into experiences that resonate on a human level.
