Biography
Aparna is Managing Director and Principal at Gensler. As the founding team member of Gensler's Mumbai office, she has grown the practice in mixed-use, offices, residential, workplace, and critical facilities. Aparna also serves as APME region's Culture and Museums practice area leader.
Across a career spanning nearly three decades as a registered architect in India and previously in the United States, Aparna has been passionate about design excellence realized for clients in diverse practice areas such as cultural institutions, commercial offices and headquarters, education, science and technology, and residential projects. Aparna earned her undergraduate degree from Mumbai University and holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
What excites me most is multidisciplinary collaboration, working with clients and the full project team to realize a vision as fully as it can be, striving for innovative solutions and design excellence aligned with the core purpose.
