It translates the spatial intelligence of Suzhou’s Classical Gardens into a workplace experience built around movement, discovery, nature, and connection. Garden-inspired journeys, contemporary roofline references, screen details, and a flowing stacking garden bring a distinct sense of place to the campus. From brief to build: how the logic of Suzhou’s gardens became a connected workplace journey for a global technology campus.

The design process began with a question: how could Suzhou’s cultural intelligence shape the way people work, connect, and move? Instead of applying traditional motifs at the surface, the team studied how Classical Gardens create sequence, pause, discovery, and social exchange. That thinking led to the stacking garden, a connected system that organizes the campus through greenery, shared destinations, and layered experiences. The result is a workplace journey that turns cultural research into a practical framework for collaboration, wellbeing, and innovation.
