Opportunity

A new flagship at One Madison Avenue offered IBM the chance to reunite 10 dispersed New York teams while setting a more flexible, inclusive workplace standard.

Gensler’s relationship with IBM dates to the 1970s, and One Madison represented an opportunity to define the next generation of that partnership. As organizations continue to prioritize the importance of team-based collaboration, bringing business units under one roof has become a key strategy for sparking innovation while cultivating a cutting-edge, forward-looking company culture. Simultaneously, a strategic workplace approach can create new opportunities for embedding the latest inclusivity and accessibility features to better attract and retain talent.
