Located in the exclusive Puerta de Hierro district of Zapopan, Waldorf Astoria Residences Guadalajara brings the legacy of a globally recognized brand into a new residential setting. Solution

A sculptural tower carefully designed residences, and curated shared spaces create a residential environment defined by architecture, materiality, and attention to detail.

The 30-story tower introduces a fluid architectural form that rises above Guadalajara's skyline with a distinctive yet timeless presence. Its 114 residences are designed around views, natural light, and privacy, while interiors incorporate refined materials and local craftsmanship. Shared amenities, including wellness areas, social spaces, and dining environments, expand the possibilities of daily living by offering residents spaces for gathering, relaxation, and personal well-being. Together, these elements create a cohesive residential setting that reflects both sophistication and a strong sense of place.

From brief to build: architecture, interiors, and residential amenities were developed as a unified vision, balancing Waldorf Astoria's legacy with Guadalajara's evolving urban character.

The design process focused on translating an established brand into a residential environment with its own architectural identity. Every decision, from the tower's form to the selection of interior materials and shared spaces, was guided by the relationship between global standards and local context. Architecture, interior design, and project coordination progressed together, ensuring a cohesive vision across every scale while creating a place that feels distinctive within Guadalajara's residential landscape.
