Biography
Peter is a Project Director based in Gensler’s San Francisco office, where he leads commercial development and urban design projects with a focus on sustainability and intelligent architecture, creating buildings that perform for their owners and inspire their users.
His career has spanned multiple geographies, including a posting as the Regional Managing Principal for Asia and Greater China, based in Hong Kong. He has also managed several Gensler offices across his tenure with the firm. Peter has served on the Board of Directors at Building Design+Construction Magazine, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat San Francisco Chapter, the U.S. Green Building Council New York Chapter, and the Syracuse University School of Architecture Board.
Architecture shapes the human experience beyond style: designing for the present with memory of the past and humility toward an unknown future, creating spaces that free us from inherited assumptions, deepen the act of seeing, and serve life itself.
