Solution

The “Borderless & Inclusive” concept shapes interconnected social spaces and technology-enabled hubs where people, information, and ideas flow freely across the workplace.

Building on the “Borderless & Inclusive” concept, Gensler designed a seamless environment that reduces physical and psychological barriers by encouraging interaction and connection. Beginning with a hospitality-inspired welcome area, the workplace leads to the Innovation Base, a collaborative space with immersive digital signage and large-scale display technology that supports dynamic discussion and knowledge sharing. A work café, an interconnected staircase spanning three floors, and diversity-inspired artwork create opportunities for spontaneous encounters among employees. Together, these features make cross-team exchange part of employees’ daily movement through the workplace.

Translating Baycurrent’s culture into a workplace experience centered on connection, inclusion, and engagement.

The project began by exploring how workplace design could encourage interaction across teams. Planning strategies focused on improving connection, visibility, and accessibility throughout the office. Shared destinations, collaborative environments, and informal gathering spaces were positioned to increase opportunities for communication. Hospitality principles guided the user experience, while digital technology and brand expression were integrated throughout the environment. This design approach shaped an intuitive workplace experience that reflects Baycurrent’s identity and supports a more connected way of working.

The headquarters strengthens Baycurrent’s culture and identity by creating a more open, connected, and hospitality-driven workplace experience for employees.
