Harry Cliffe-Roberts

Biography

Harry is a Principal, Studio Director, and Building Transformation and Adaptive Reuse practice area leader at Gensler. An architect with a vision for design and innovation at all scales, he focuses on repositioning existing buildings and creating new opportunities through transformation and adaptive reuse.

Over a decade at Gensler, Harry has led a team of architects on key London projects, including 10 Gresham Street, The Acre, and Cargo. His abilities span initial concept development through the delivery of demanding, complex projects, pursuing quality through end-to-end involvement. He has grown a deep, specialised skillset in repositioning and adaptive reuse, energising the studio with his personable, pragmatic approach. Harry's people skills equip him to spearhead project coordination with consultants and collaborate closely with clients, identifying opportunities for them to innovate within the market.

The higher purpose of transformation and adaptive reuse projects fuels my passion for architecture. Good design looks different today and while reuse projects are inherently more complex, they present an opportunity to create meaningful spaces that respond to contemporary needs, whilst helping to protect our future generations.
